Tomkins Education offers independent and individualised support to a variety of schools, both rural and inner-city, which contributes towards continuous school improvement.  We work collaboratively alongside teachers to fulfil their potential as both inspirational leaders and managers; enabling them to become evaluative and resilient, so that they have a positive impact that is sustainable after the coaching or mentoring visits. Skills and strategies are developed to allow staff to gather the appropriate evidence, develop evaluative skills and to prioritise. 

Our leadership training courses provide a forum for teachers to meet, learn together and network, sharing ideas and experiences.

We also undertake collaborative, rigorous school reviews that may focus on specific agreed aspects and can include book scrutinies, lesson observations, discussions with staff and pupils and an evaluation of the learning environment.  The final report gives practical advice, guidance/support to undertake the necessary recommended improvements for learning.
